After years spent in foreign lands, we decided it was time to reconnect with our birthplaces and the history of our families.
We returned to Romania in search of an orchard and we fell in love ... with a vineyard.
It was something totally unexpected - a “Black Swan” event, an unpredictable and all-changing event - at least for us.
We considered that nothing is accidental, so we consulted, we analyzed the course of our family and the moment that presented itself without looking for it.
And we decided to set up a winery to represent our life experiences.
Because everything was unexpected - but also undeniable - we called this winery "Black Swan". And we decided to do everything we can to make wines that reflect first of all the place where the grapes come from and secondly the values ​that inspire us.
