Mavrud (indigenous Bulgarian grape variety), from a selected vineyard in the region of Elenovo. Intense red colour. Rich red fruit aroma, dry leaves, black chocolate and spices.
Full bodied and well balanced; soft tannins.

Ageing: 12 months in botti (classic French oak barrels) and Bulgarian oak barrels (500 l capacity).
Red meat dishes, pasta, hard yellow cheeses.
