The production of the winery is based on young, fresh fruit wines with an emphasis on the characteristic grape varieties and terroir of southern Bulgaria.
The grapes for the wines are handpicked at full technological maturity. The fermentation of the red wines takes place in reinforced concrete tanks and the white wines in stainless steel tanks under strict temperature control. Some of the wine is aged in 220 litter barrels made from French and American oak within six to twelve months. The wines are bottled in the wine cellar. The assortment - both bottled and bulk wine - presented by enough variety (Gewürztraminer, Chardonnay, Muscat Ottonel, Muscat Giallo, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Tempranillo and Alicante Bouschet) and blend labels, won a huge number of supporters in Stara Zagora.
The world is big, the market is wide, there is room for everyone. The DASKALOVI BROTHERS WINE CELLAR subordinates its work to this philosophical and philanthropic principle. And they somehow manage to cope - even in difficult years, when they have to constantly invest in vineyards, endure frost, drought and hardship, while still buying grapes for their production.
And each bottle is a sip of a memorable, philosophical elixir from the foothills of ancient and sunny Golden Thrace.

The Bratya Daskalovi winery was created in 1937. It is located in the central part of southern Bulgaria in the lap of the Sredna Gora Mountains. In 2003 the Stoyanovi family took over the management of the wine cellar and planted 40 hectares with the grape varieties Gewürztraminer, Chardonnay, Muscat Ottonel, Muscat Giallo, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Tempranillo and Alicante Bouschet.
The path of the winery, as the owner Katya Stoyanova explains, is difficult and "thorny". Trading in wine and alcohol, her family decided to "dedicate" to their own production. They bought the cellar in Bratya Daskalovi, which was then only for aging wines, and invested in equipment for primary wine production. The next year 2004 they have planted the first 100 decares of vineyards, the next year another 300.
