Description

The town of Cricova was mentioned in a documentary in 1431 with the name Vadul Pietrei.

Cricova is a town in the Riscani district of Chisinau, Moldova, located 11 km from Chisinau. Due to the natural galleries of over 120 km, mostly used for wine storage, Cricova is one of the largest tourist attractions in the Republic of Moldova. Cricova is also called the city of sunshine.
