Anenii Noi district is located in the region of the Southern Moldavian Plain, on a territory with an area of ​​887.6 km2. Its relief represents a hilly plain, intersected by multiple valleys and ravines. Erosion processes and landslides have conditioned the formation of paper mills that have amphitheaters in which a large part of rural localities are located. The east of the district is located in the Dniester river meadow and has a less fragmented plain relief. In the north the district borders the territory of Criuleni district, the Dniester river separates us to the east from the Administrative-Territorial Unit on the left bank of the Dniester, to the south - with the city of Bender and Causeni district and to the west - with the localities from Chisinau. it is crossed by dozens of rivers, streams and streams. Some of them dry out during the warm period of the year. The most important rivers are the Dniester, with a length of 68 km on the territory of the district; and Bic - with 42 km on the territory of the district. Within the limits of the district there are 57 artificial aquatic objects with a total area of ​​about 1000 hectares. Of the total area of ​​the district, arable lands occupy 55%, perennial plants - 10.4%, pastures - 8.8%, forest vegetation - 13.7%, other unproductive lands - 12.1%.
