WINET

WINET is a cross-border project from the Black Sea Basin region, including three countries: Moldova, Romania and Bulgaria. The project’s mission is to increase trade and cooperation in the wine sector.
The platform settles the necessary framework and facilities for establishing viable business relationship, to create a community dedicated to collaboration, increased commercial relations and constant modernization of the region’s wine industry.
WINET upgrades classic networking to a new level via modern on-line technologies, facilitating digitalization of trade across borders and between countries.
The regional objectives of WINET are:
– increasing opportunities in cross-border trade through a digital promotion tool;
– exchange of best practices regarding the modernization of the agricultural sector and other related ones;
– enhance cooperation in the wine sector from the Black Sea Basin region.
The project’s partner institutions are the Moldovan Investment Agency from Moldova; the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture Tulcea from Romania and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Stara Zagora from Bulgaria. The project is in line with several EU initiatives and is complementary with other regional cross border cooperation programs. The Black Sea Basin program is a part of the European Union’s Cross-Border Cooperation under its European Neighborhood Instrument.
