It is a 100% Romanian variety, which, although initially considered a genetic mutation of another widespread variety in Romania, Feteasca Albă, Feteasca Neagră is, in fact, a very old variety, as evidenced by the different types of this variety that find (mutations in DNA structure). The wine made in Dobrogea, at the Viticola Sarica Niculițel, bears the imprint of the terroir and brings together the best expressions of this variety, from different years.
Ruby red wine with a pleasant and complex aroma, similar to that of currants, blackberries or prunes. The taste is velvety and harmonious and sends you thinking of berries (currants, blackberries), cherries, prunes, lightly seasoned, reminiscent of cinnamon, pepper, allspice and vanilla.
