Aligoté is the representative variety of the Niculițel vineyard. Originally from the French region of Burgundy, this variety of vine appeared in the late seventeenth century through the natural cross between the varieties Gouais Blanc and Pinot Noir.
This wine has vegetable aromas of freshly mown grass and reclaimed earth. The taste of ripe white fruit and green apples is balanced by a high natural acidity. At the end, the notes of citrus, wormwood and chicory punctuate a balanced wine, with a lot of freshness.
GASTRONOMIC ASSOCIATIONS:
It can be served with fish and seafood dishes, young cheeses. It is an excellent table opener due to its high acidity.
